The unique, state-of-the-art design of the Cormach Crane ensures that the knuckle boom is in line, guarding against unwanted stresses that can occur from an offset design. Additionally, the cantilever profile of the twin columns evenly distributes the crane's lifting stresses and shock loads. The Cormach Crane's functionality supercedes that of a rack and pinion system with its "BIG CRANE" rotation bearing, external motor, and gearbox drive. And with its low, center-of-gravity design, the heavy components are located near the chassis frame. Compared to its competitors' models, the Cormach Crane's weight is much lighter, but with the same reach and capacity. This low-weight design is a consistent feature in the Cormach crane line. For optimum safety, the Cormach Crane has been designed to support a load in an emergency situation with either its main boom-up cylinders or its optimum stress dissipation. And safety inspections are much simpler because the crane's stressed parts remain visible.
